As we expand, we're looking for highly skilled engineers who can elevate our technical capabilities while mentoring and enabling others across the organization. We are seeking a qualified and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Leveraged Engineering team to support our global plant sites across lines of businesses. The Senior Electrical Engineer will provide consulting services in support of design, startup, and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment as needed throughout Qnity Electronics. This includes technical support to plant operations as well as for capital projects. The Senior Electrical Engineer will network with Qnity resources and cross-functional teams to achieve timely solutions to business problems. The successful candidate will have a strong electrical engineering background and the ability to use these fundamental skills to specify equipment per regulatory compliance and solve problems related to equipment performance and reliability for a full spectrum of devices in multiple voltage classes from 480V up through 35 kV. Typical areas of technology include: lightning arrestors, switchgear, distribution transformers, protective relays, breakers, switches, fuses, cables, M otor C ontrol C enters, motors, and A djustable S peed D rives. He/she should have a working knowledge of all aspects of electrical design including but not limited to: Application of Codes, Standards, & Regulations Area Classification Cable Routing Ability to read drawings Utility interface
