Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university or college
  • Minimum 5+ years of electrical engineering principles, including circuit analysis, electromagnetic theory, and power systems
  • Minimum 3 + years of experience of relevant industry and governments standards and regulations, (ie..DO-160, MIL-STD-704)
  • Minimum 2 + years of experience of computer-aided design (CAD) software and other engineering tools used to design and test electrical systems, preferably Altium
  • Minimum 2 + years of strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and solve complex engineering problems
  • Ability to prove that you meet the status of a U.S. Person as one of the following: U.S. lawful permanent resident, U.S. Citizen, have been granted asylee or refugee status

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for Semiconductor design and engineering; designing, developing, modifying and evaluating electronic parts, components or integrated circuitry for electronic equipment and other hardware systems.
  • Determine design approaches and parameters; analyze equipment to establish operating data, conduct experimental tests & evaluate results.
  • Developing specialized knowledge in their discipline and serving as a best practice/quality resource with awareness of latest technical developments in own area.
  • Contributes strategy and policy development and ensure delivery within area of responsibility.
  • Uses judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems in areas of operational/product management, manufacturing, technology or engineering.
  • Takes new perspective on existing solutions and uses technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations.
  • Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
  • May lead small projects with moderate risks and resource requirements.
  • Explains difficult or sensitive information and works to build consensus.
  • Developing persuasion skills required to influence others on topics within field.
