Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university or college
Minimum 5+ years of electrical engineering principles, including circuit analysis, electromagnetic theory, and power systems
Minimum 3 + years of experience of relevant industry and governments standards and regulations, (ie..DO-160, MIL-STD-704)
Minimum 2 + years of experience of computer-aided design (CAD) software and other engineering tools used to design and test electrical systems, preferably Altium
Minimum 2 + years of strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and solve complex engineering problems
Ability to prove that you meet the status of a U.S. Person as one of the following: U.S. lawful permanent resident, U.S. Citizen, have been granted asylee or refugee status

Responsibilities

Responsible for Semiconductor design and engineering; designing, developing, modifying and evaluating electronic parts, components or integrated circuitry for electronic equipment and other hardware systems.
Determine design approaches and parameters; analyze equipment to establish operating data, conduct experimental tests & evaluate results.
Developing specialized knowledge in their discipline and serving as a best practice/quality resource with awareness of latest technical developments in own area.
Contributes strategy and policy development and ensure delivery within area of responsibility.
Uses judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems in areas of operational/product management, manufacturing, technology or engineering.
Takes new perspective on existing solutions and uses technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations.
Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
May lead small projects with moderate risks and resource requirements.
Explains difficult or sensitive information and works to build consensus.
Developing persuasion skills required to influence others on topics within field.
