  • Experience with board-level architecture definition, schematic capture, component selection, and design verification.
  • Experience using LTspice or comparable SPICE-based simulation tools to analyze and validate analog, mixed-signal, and power-electronics circuits.
  • Experience validating high-speed board design simulations and verifying quality in the lab using iBert and other eye-pattern test tools.
  • Experience supporting PCB layout activities and resolving board-level implementation issues.
  • Proven track record in SoC power distribution, clocking, and high-speed board design.
  • Experience with board bring-up, debugging, troubleshooting, and failure analysis.
  • Experience with component lifecycle management, EOL redesign, and obsolescence mitigation.
  • Experience working with contract manufacturers, board fabrication suppliers, and outsourced development partners.
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary product-development teams.
  • Strong hands-on experience in analog and digital board design, validation, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong knowledge of FPGA-based and processor-based board architectures for high-reliability electronic systems.
  • Knowledge of high-speed protocols and interfaces, including PCIe, Ethernet, SRIO, DDR, SPI, and I2C, at 1–25 Gbps.
  • Understanding of signal integrity, power integrity, clocking, grounding, shielding, and high-speed design constraints.
  • Experience designing for EMC/EMI robustness, reliability, and first-time-right hardware outcomes.
  • Proficiency with LTspice or equivalent SPICE-based tools for transient, AC, DC operating-point, tolerance, and worst-case analysis; schematic capture; PCB layout guidelines; and PCBA development tools such as Xpedition or Altium Designer, or equivalent.
  • Strong board-, module-, and system-level troubleshooting skills using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and protocol analyzers.
  • Knowledge of robust design practices, reliability methods, and hardware qualification methods, including MTBF, HALT, ALT, and DFMEA.
  • Strong technical documentation skills, including specifications, design records, validation plans, test reports, and version-control processes.
  • Structured analytical problem-solving skills, including analyzing data, identifying risks, and driving actionable hardware solutions.
  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access controlled technology under U.S. Export Administration Regulations before beginning work.
