Senior Electrical Engineer, P.E.

Gigantes Group•Houston, TX

About The Position

A multidisciplinary engineering consultancy is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to support its growing building design practice across Texas. The position is suited to a technically strong Professional Engineer who wants to remain hands-on with design, deliver complex projects, and mentor junior engineers rather than move entirely into project management. The engineer will lead electrical design across commercial, healthcare, higher education, multifamily, and mission-critical projects. The role includes designing and reviewing power distribution, lighting, and other building electrical systems; producing and overseeing technical deliverables using Revit and BIM workflows; coordinating with other design disciplines; and supporting projects from concept design through construction administration. The engineer will also serve as a senior technical resource while remaining actively involved in design production. The role offers a base salary of $120,000–$180,000, dependent on experience, and straight-time overtime compensation. The working arrangement is hybrid, with three days in the office and two remote. Opportunities include working on major multidisciplinary projects and pursuing long-term technical specialist and leadership progression.

  • Proficiency with Revit and BIM-based design workflows.
  • Experience across multiple commercial building sectors.
  • Ability to mentor junior engineers while maintaining hands-on technical involvement.
