About The Position

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to work fully remotely, aligned with its Oak Ridge, Tennessee office, on nuclear and commercial energy projects. The role leads the design, analysis, and implementation of complex electrical systems and provides technical expertise across multidisciplinary teams, supporting engineering excellence, regulatory compliance, and successful project delivery. The engineer designs and maintains safety- and non-safety-related electrical systems and equipment, performs engineering calculations, and prepares and reviews design documents, drawings, specifications, and related materials. The role coordinates electrical design with other disciplines, applies applicable regulatory guidance, codes, standards, and engineering judgment, and supports plant modifications, engineering analyses, and resolution of equipment and system problems. The position also includes mentoring and reviewing junior colleagues’ work, checking design media, managing assigned schedules, recommending design improvements, and supporting installation and testing of site systems and components. The engineer operates with a high degree of independence and performs other duties as assigned.
