Requirements

10+ years of experience in the Electrical Engineering field.
Professional Engineer (P.Eng) licensed with PEO is required.
Proven team leadership experience.
Strong interpersonal skills and articulate verbal communication-essential for collaborating with clients, consultants, and contractors.
Thorough understanding of electrical engineering concepts and ability to effectively communicate ideas to others.
Advanced oral and written communication skills.
Presentation and interview skills.
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree.
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, etc.) products and electrical design software.

Nice To Haves

Auto CAD experience and REVIT MEP proficiency desired.

Responsibilities

Reports to the Senior Vice President – Buildings, work independently and with minimal supervision on projects from start to completion.
Leads project activities and mentor design staff on all aspects of their work.
Oversees a team of project engineers and designers for technical, resourcing and design quality.
Responsible for meeting engineering quality standards on assigned projects.
Manages development of design concepts and ensures proper application and execution.
Provides mentorship and supervision for project engineers and designers.
Leads proposals and pursuits and supports business development.
Oversees financial & technical project management.
Checks the work of others for accuracy and completeness and manage time to meet project budget and schedule.
Leads the design team to produce schematic design, design development, tender and construction documents that meet the project requirements within the allocated schedule and budget.
Writes, studies and reports on electrical system work.
