About The Position

Corning is hiring a Senior Electrical Engineer, Power Systems that may be located in Charlotte, NC; Durham, NC; or Corning, NY. This role supports new facilities, expansions, infrastructure upgrades, and equipment line projects across Corning, with relocation assistance provided. Travel is expected to average approximately 50% annually, with actual travel requirements fluctuating based on project scope and phase. This role offers the kind of range that is hard to find in a typical site-based position. You’ll be brought into important work where power systems expertise is needed most — from major capital projects and infrastructure upgrades to troubleshooting, reliability, and design review in existing manufacturing operations across multiple Corning locations. It’s a good fit for someone who wants to stay close to real engineering decisions, build range across different environments, and be a trusted technical resource in the moments that matter most.
