This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, with three days in the office and two days remote. You will have the opportunity to work in a project team environment with other engineers and designers involved in the design, modification, and analysis of new and existing nuclear power plant electrical systems. This role involves challenging assignments, including investigating, troubleshooting, and solving a wide variety of electrical engineering issues, or designing new electrical engineering systems. You will assist the electrical engineering lead or project manager in ensuring projects are completed satisfactorily, on time, and within budget. Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing detailed calculations (three phase AC and DC power studies, short circuit, voltage drop, motor starting, and protective relay settings), preparing engineering documentation for drawing production, and preparing and reviewing engineering reports and studies. You will also perform independent reviews of work performed by others, including calculations and drawing preparation.
