We are seeking a highly skilled, self-motivated Senior Electrical Designer with fifteen or more years of experience to join our team in applying engineering skills to a variety of diverse and challenging projects in our Austin office. The successful candidate will have experience in the design and drafting of power, lighting, and low-voltage systems for federal/DOD, commercial, healthcare, educational, industrial, multi-family, and/or high-rise facilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in engineering or related science (required)
- 15+ years of design and drafting experience in related industries.
- Graduation from a certified CAD training program at an accredited institution counts as one year of experience
- Proficient in computer-aided drafting (CAD) and Building Information Modeling (BIM)
- Possess advanced drafting, BIM/Revit and layout skills
- Experienced with the latest release of Autodesk AutoCAD and REVIT
Nice To Haves
- EIT Certification (Preferred)
Responsibilities
- Design and drafting of power, lighting, and low-voltage systems for federal/DOD, commercial, healthcare, educational, industrial, multi-family, and/or high-rise facilities.
- Create REVIT families and AutoCAD blocks.
- Perform design work without supervision.
- Train entry level designers.
