About The Position

The candidate will demonstrate strong expertise in PCBA design analysis, reverse engineering, and diagnosis/troubleshooting to address repair goals. The ideal candidate should be capable of diagnosing and troubleshooting defective boards, with or without relevant design documentation. Responsibilities include developing comprehensive board repair plans—including approaches, timelines, and identifying technical dependencies—and applying critical thinking to troubleshoot PCBA issues without design documents. Proficiency in using PCB troubleshooting equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analyzers is required. The role demands working with minimal guidance, maintaining a strong track record of on-time delivery, and demonstrating perseverance through tough challenges. The candidate should be willing to travel for escalations, primarily to Singapore and China. Knowledge of power supplies and electrical systems is a plus.

Requirements

  • Strong expertise in PCBA design analysis, reverse engineering, and diagnosis/troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in using PCB troubleshooting equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analyzers.
  • Ability to work effectively with both junior and senior-level team members, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders.
  • 15 to 20 years of experience.
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree.
