About The Position

Parallel Systems is hiring a Senior EHS Specialist to own and run the company's environmental, health, and safety program. An outside safety consultant is developing the safety manual and core written plans; this role will put that foundation into practice across all sites and manage the program day to day in partnership with engineering, operations, and site leaders. The position is based at the Los Angeles headquarters and requires regular travel to sites in California and Georgia. The specialist will implement safety programs that meet Cal/OSHA requirements in California and federal OSHA requirements in Georgia, while coordinating with rail operations and regulatory teams where OSHA and FRA requirements overlap. FRA compliance remains the responsibility of those teams. The role also leads safety planning for a new manufacturing facility and owns environmental compliance, including hazardous materials and waste, battery handling and storage, safety data sheets, and applicable permits. The target hiring salary range is $125,000–$152,000 USD. Parallel Systems is an equal opportunity employer and provides reasonable accommodations to qualified individuals with disabilities.
