Under general supervision, performs routine and complex procedures to obtain data for use in the diagnosis of clinical disorders of the nervous system in at two of the following fields of technical Neurophysiology: Electroencephalograph, Evoked Potentials, or Epilepsy and Sleep. This role involves operating specialized equipment, analyzing waveforms, scheduling patients, recording medical history, and maintaining equipment and supplies. The position also requires participation in data collection for research, assisting with staff training, and maintaining communication with referring physicians. The Senior EEG Technician is expected to incorporate Lahey Clinic Guiding Principles, Mission Statement, and Goals into daily activities, comply with all Lahey Clinic Policies and behavioral expectations, and maintain courteous and effective interactions with colleagues and patients. A commitment to meeting and exceeding customer needs and participating in quality improvement activities is also essential.
