About The Position

SitelogIQ is seeking a Senior Educational Consultant for its Midwest Division in Edina, Minnesota. This role is the primary point of contact for SitelogIQ's business development within the PK-12 education market. The consultant will build relationships within a defined K-12 network, promote the SitelogIQ brand, and generate qualified opportunities for Planning Executives. The position requires a service-oriented leader passionate about education, well-connected in the PK-12 community, and skilled at fostering long-term partnerships. The role involves identifying district needs and creating opportunities for master facilities planning and facility improvement solutions that support equitable educational environments.

Requirements

  • Prior leadership experience in PK–12 education (e.g., superintendent, administrator, district leader, or similar role).
  • Established credibility and strong standing within educational and professional organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and sustain trusted relationships within the public PK–12 sector.
  • Proven track record of developing partnerships with integrity, energy, and humility.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel up to 50%.
  • Service-oriented mindset with both external partners and internal teammates.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect authentically and build rapport.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Collaborative team player who contributes beyond defined responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a strong professional network within the PK–12 education community.
  • Build and nurture relationships with superintendents, business officials, facilities leaders, and other district stakeholders.
  • Attend and actively participate in PK–12 conferences, conventions, workshops, and committee meetings.
  • Generate referrals and introductions through established professional relationships.
  • Conduct introductory outreach and first-call conversations with target districts.
  • Generate 5–10 meaningful interactions weekly with prospective districts.
  • Partner with SitelogIQ Analysts to qualify and prioritize target opportunities.
  • Create pathways for Planning Executives to engage districts in facility assessments and planning conversations.
  • Attend initial meetings and project kickoffs alongside Planning Executives.
  • Serve as a liaison during early-stage engagement to ensure a seamless transition to the broader development team.
  • Maintain strong relationships with partners while proactively identifying new opportunities within the region.
  • Demonstrate the ability to remain “sticky” with partners—building trust and staying engaged throughout the relationship lifecycle.
