The National Post is looking for a Foreign Editor to write foreign coverage. Requirements

• Minimum of three years of newsroom experience.
• Ability to work quickly but thoroughly in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrable grasp of current world affairs.
• Ability to work independently and make efficient decisions.
• Ability to work constructively as part of a remote newsroom team.
• Understanding of the worldview and mission of the National Post.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada.

Nice To Haves

• Editing experience is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Write daily items on the key news stories around the world, drawing on multiple sources to craft compelling and pointed copy.
• Provide editing relief for daily news and feature stories from other teams.
