About The Position

Bob’s Discount Furniture is seeking an experienced Senior eCommerce UAT Specialist to lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) initiatives across MyBobs.com, the Bob’s Mobile App, 3D Room Designer, and related systems. This hybrid role partners with Product, Development, UX, Marketing, Operations, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality digital experiences through manual and automated testing, continuous process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration. Hybrid schedule with a minimum of two in-office days per week in Manchester, CT; qualified remote candidates will also be considered.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 7+ years of eCommerce QA, UAT, or related experience
• Experience leading complex UAT initiatives in Agile environments
• Strong written, verbal, analytical, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities
• User Acceptance Testing (UAT) strategy, planning, execution, and signoff
• Manual, regression, smoke, integration, and end-to-end testing
• Test planning, test case creation, defect tracking, and risk assessment
• eCommerce platforms and customer journey validation
• Agile/Scrum and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
• Cross-browser, cross-device, and mobile application testing
• Test automation tools (Tosca, Playwright, Selenium, or similar)
• JIRA, Asana, Panaya, or similar defect/project management tools
• API validation, JSON analysis, and browser developer tools
• UX, accessibility, ADA/WCAG, and usability testing
• Cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder communication
• Leadership, mentoring, prioritization, and continuous improvement

Nice To Haves

• SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) experience
• Google Analytics, Bloomreach, or related digital experience platforms
• Postman, SoapUI, or API testing tools
• Retail or furniture industry experience
• AI-assisted testing methodologies
• SAP ERP and order management knowledge

Responsibilities

• Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) initiatives across MyBobs.com, the Bob’s Mobile App, 3D Room Designer, and related systems.
• Partner with Product, Development, UX, Marketing, Operations, and business stakeholders.
• Deliver high-quality digital experiences through manual and automated testing.
• Drive continuous process improvement.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration.
• Develop UAT strategy, planning, execution, and signoff.
• Perform manual, regression, smoke, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Create test plans and test cases.
• Track defects and perform risk assessments.
• Validate eCommerce platforms and customer journeys.
• Conduct cross-browser, cross-device, and mobile application testing.
• Perform API validation, JSON analysis, and utilize browser developer tools.
• Conduct UX, accessibility, ADA/WCAG, and usability testing.
• Communicate with stakeholders.
• Mentor junior team members.
