About The Position
Senior Echocardiograph Technologist at Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Apple Valley, CA. This position is Full Time and will work <40>-hour, Variable shifts. Reporting to the Department Director, this position is responsible to perform a variety of non-invasive cardio and vascular services: EKG, EEG, Treadmills, Echocardiography, Holter Monitor hook-up as well as assuring other technicians are clinically competent and providing necessary training. Requirements
- Completion of a Cardiovascular ultrasound program
- National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (Upon hire)
- National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Upon hire)
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association (Upon hire)
- EEG Certification (Upon hire)
- 5 years clinical experience in an acute care setting with demonstrated technical expertise
- Experience in the field of cardiology
- Proficiency in Stress Echocardiograms and Transesophagel Echocardiograms
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of non-invasive cardio and vascular services: EKG, EEG, Treadmills, Echocardiography, Holter Monitor hook-up
- Assure other technicians are clinically competent and provide necessary training
- Identify Quality Assurance Indicators and report up through the Medical Director and PI
