Major Duties Under general supervision, the Senior Donor Strategy Analyst develops principal gift strategies, conducts prospect research, coordinates donor engagement activities, prepares executive briefing materials, manages prospect tracking and stewardship efforts, and provides strategic recommendations that strengthen fundraising initiatives and advance philanthropic investment across the university. Develops and leads individualized cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies for the university's highest-priority principal gift prospects and donors in partnership with executive leadership. Utilizes advanced research tools, data analytics, and prospect research methodologies to identify, evaluate, and prioritize prospective donors with the capacity and inclination to make principal-level gifts. Coordinates and manages day-to-day administrative operations for donor visits, campus tours, meetings, and engagement opportunities designed to strengthen relationships and advance philanthropic conversations with principal gift prospects. Prepares the President, Vice Presidents, Foundation Board members, and other senior leaders for donor interactions by developing comprehensive briefing materials, talking points, background research, and strategic recommendations. Ensures compliance with applicable privacy regulations, ethical standards, institutional policies, and professional guidelines governing prospect research, donor information and fundraising activities. Requirements

Equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in a related field and four years of relevant experience
Additional experience which demonstrates acquired and successfully applied knowledge and abilities shown above may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis
An advanced degree in a related field may be substituted for the required experience on a year-for-year basis
Understanding of non-profit fundraising and experience with research tools and methodologies
Display strategic thinking, and an ability to build systems and perform on tight timelines
Ability to verify information accurately
Advanced analytical skills to synthesize a large volume of information from a variety of sources and perform complex analysis to interpret financial data and individual wealth indicators, such as a donor’s ideal giving level
Ability to organize work effectively, conceptualize and prioritize objectives and exercise independent judgment based on an understanding of organizational policies and activities
Ability to coordinate work with other employees, providing direct instruction as assigned
Ability to use logic and reasoning for approaches to problems
Readily accepts new challenges, work assignments and establish the most effective way to address new issues, actions, activities and challenges
Thinks quickly and responds rationally and politely to inquiries, work demands, new work and changes in direction including aggressive deadlines
Ability to learn quickly
Understands the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making
