About The Position

Samsung is a world leader in advanced semiconductor technology, founded on the belief that the pursuit of excellence creates a better world. At Samsung Austin Semiconductor, we are Innovating Today to Power the Devices of Tomorrow. Come innovate with us! Position Summary As a Samsung Austin Semiconductor professional within our diverse and dynamic Data Intelligence department, you will architect, deploy, and manage the overarching strategy for multiple platforms across diverse clusters. This high-impact role requires close collaboration with international counterparts to align global infrastructure standards while leading the development of critical environments. You will be a strategic lead for our internally hosted platforms, driving the evolution of our CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes-based hosting to ensure maximum scalability and performance. This is a pivotal time to join the team as we expand our Texas footprint with the new, state-of-the-art Taylor campus, offering you a unique opportunity to shape the architectural foundation of one of the world's most advanced semiconductor manufacturing hubs. Operating within a strictly air-gapped in-house environment, you must possess the expertise to troubleshoot and optimize the entire stack—from the application and container layers down to Linux and physical infrastructure without relying on managed cloud services. We are seeking a strategic problem-solver who can balance high-level architectural planning with deep technical execution, including writing custom automation tools and managing large-scale containerized applications. As a key member of Data Intelligence, you will work across functional boundaries and respond to complex system incidents to maintain seamless operations in a high-stakes manufacturing environment.
