About The Position

The Senior Distribution Engineer 1 works in a project team environment and leads engineers and designers in applying engineering and design practices to electric distribution projects. The engineer collaborates with teams designing new upstream and midstream oil and gas facilities, participates in Process Hazard Analyses and Design Reviews, and works directly with client representatives on distribution-design questions. The position also analyzes, designs, or reviews priority feeds; supports maintenance and recapitalization of distribution components; plans system modifications; and develops work packages and provides construction support as needed. Travel to client and vendor offices and plant sites is required for design reviews, construction coordination, and field verification. This is a hybrid role, with three days a week in the office and two days remote. A relocation package may be available depending on location.
