About The Position

The Senior Director, Strategy & Operations is a senior marketing leader responsible for building and leading the operational backbone of isolved's Marketing organization. This role ensures the Marketing function operates with discipline, clarity, financial stewardship, and system integrity. Serving as the head of Marketing Operations and PMO, the Sr. Director establishes the strategic planning framework, operating cadence, budget governance, performance reporting infrastructure, and cross-functional workflows that enable Marketing to execute effectively at scale. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Marketing, this role works alongside the VP, Integrated Demand and other marketing leaders to ensure organizational alignment, execution visibility, process consistency, and operational excellence across all marketing functions. This role does not own pipeline or growth targets, but is accountable for the systems, governance, and operational rigor that enable marketing performance.

Requirements

  • 12–15+ years of progressive experience in PMO, marketing, business operations, or strategic planning within B2B SaaS environments.
  • 5+ years in leadership roles overseeing PMO, operations, systems, or functional governance.
  • Proven experience establishing marketing operating frameworks and organizational cadence.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing multi-million-dollar budgets.
  • Expertise in project management methodologies and workflow design.
  • Experience overseeing marketing systems and tools (e.g., Asana, Jira, data platforms, reporting dashboards).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional coordination and operational change initiatives.
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Employee must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

  • MBA and/or PMP certification preferred.
  • Experience in Benefits, HCM, HR technology, or related SaaS industry strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Establish and lead the Marketing operating model, including annual and quarterly planning, Marketing Leadership Team (MLT) governance, monthly business reviews, cross-functional prioritization, and department communications. Own the Marketing Rhythm of Business (RoB) to ensure clarity, accountability, and alignment across functions.
  • Lead a centralized Marketing PMO responsible for project intake, prioritization, capacity planning, workflow governance, and cross-functional dependency management. Standardize project management methodologies and provide executive visibility into initiative status, risks, and resource constraints.
  • Partner with Finance to manage the marketing budget process, including annual planning, reforecasting, spend tracking, and vendor oversight. Ensure disciplined investment management and transparency across functional allocations.
  • Work with marketing leadership to develop and maintain executive reporting frameworks and dashboards to provide visibility into performance, operational health, and key KPIs. Partner with Demand Center and Finance to ensure reporting accuracy and consistency.
  • Drive continuous process improvement to increase execution efficiency, reduce friction, and enhance organizational effectiveness. Maintain documentation of workflows, governance standards, and operating procedures.
  • Support organizational planning, including headcount planning, role clarity, change management, and internal communications during strategic shifts or system implementations.
  • Lead and develop the Marketing PMO function, establishing performance expectations, governance standards, and scalable frameworks that enable marketing leaders to execute effectively.
  • Frequent interaction with: Senior Vice President of Marketing, VP, Integrated Demand, Corporate Marketing, Product Marketing, Product Management, Field & Partner Marketing leaders, Revenue Operations, Finance, Data Transformation team, IT and Systems teams.
