About The Position

We are hiring a Senior Director, Strategy & Operations to help scale our New Verticals business. This role operates at the center of the organization, partnering across Sales, Customer Success, Product, Marketing, Finance, and HR, to drive alignment, execution, and operational rigor. You will translate strategy into actionable plans, establish a strong operating cadence, and ensure the business is executing against clear priorities and measurable outcomes. As a senior leader, you will influence decision-making across the organization, shape how the business operates, and bring structure to complexity in a fast-growing environment. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role with direct exposure to senior leadership. You will start as a senior individual contributor with the opportunity to build and lead teams as the business scales.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in Strategy & Operations, Business Operations (BizOps), or similar roles within B2B SaaS
  • Experience operating in growth-stage or scaling environments
  • Proven ability to drive complex, cross-functional initiatives without direct authority
  • Strong track record building and running operating cadences (QBRs, MBRs, pipeline reviews)
  • Deep understanding of SaaS metrics, including ARR, bookings, retention, and pipeline coverage
  • Experience with forecasting, financial modeling, and business case development
  • Ability to connect operational performance to revenue outcomes and business strategy
  • Strong analytical skills with tools such as Excel/Google Sheets, Salesforce, and BI platforms (Looker, Tableau, Power BI)
  • Excellent communication and executive storytelling skills
  • Ability to create clear, concise, and compelling presentations for senior stakeholders

Nice To Haves

  • Background in management consulting (top-tier or equivalent)
  • Experience with pricing and packaging strategy
  • Exposure to vertical SaaS (proptech, marine, RV, or adjacent markets)
  • Experience supporting new business lines or vertical expansion initiatives

Responsibilities

  • Drive Operating Rhythm & Execution
  • Establish and run a consistent operating cadence, including weekly pipeline and forecast reviews, monthly business reviews (MBRs), and quarterly planning
  • Drive accountability and ensure follow-through on key initiatives across teams
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and lead cross-functional efforts to resolve them
  • Translate Strategy into Action
  • Partner with the GM and leadership team to define annual and quarterly plans, KPIs, and cross-functional initiatives
  • Align teams around clear priorities, success metrics, and timelines
  • Improve forecasting, target setting, and planning processes in partnership with Sales, RevOps, and Finance
  • Lead Cross-Functional Alignment
  • Act as a central connector across Sales, Customer Success, Product, Marketing, Finance, and HR
  • Drive alignment on priorities, resourcing, and execution across functions
  • Lead program management for critical go-to-market initiatives and product launches
  • Build Reporting & Insights
  • Develop and maintain dashboards across pipeline, revenue, and operational performance
  • Translate data into actionable insights and recommendations for leadership
  • Leverage Salesforce, BI tools, and emerging AI tools to improve visibility and efficiency
