About The Position

As the Senior-most Product Marketer in the Marketing organization, you will own the narrative around Alight’s product offerings for our audiences - crafting and sharing our solutions story in the most engaging, persuasive way possible. Your expertise in marketing solutions to buyers will shine as you collaborate across Sales, Growth Marketing, and Product Management teams to drive an integrated GTM strategy and differentiated narrative for buyers and influencers. You will serve as the SME on the challenges, value drivers, and buying journey for the audience - responsible for crafting high-impact messaging, positioning, and content, identifying priority use cases where we have a right to win, defining cross-functional go-to-market sales plays, enabling our field teams with vital content and tools, and building customer-facing assets that contribute to a strong pipeline for our solutions. As a trusted advisor, you'll provide our field teams with the insights and resources needed to close deals and expand within existing accounts. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, experience, MBA preferred.
  • Experience in health technology, benefits administration, BPO, or professional services.
  • 15+ years of proven, progressive record of success in product/solution marketing driving measurable business outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to own and drive enterprise-level product strategies tied directly to financial performance.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale programs with accountability for ROI and business impact.
  • Deep expertise in modern product marketing techniques, including digital twin, digital persona, and AI-supported product/solution marketing.
  • Solid track record of building and scaling B2B and B2B2C product/solution marketing.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate with decision authority in complex, matrixed organizations, aligning multiple stakeholders to enterprise outcomes.
  • Proven ability to partner across sales, product, finance, and technology functions to deliver integrated strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through ambiguity, drive transformation, and deliver results in complex environments.
  • Exceptional leadership capability with experience building, developing, and retaining high-performing teams.
  • Superior communication, executive presence, and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute product launches and consult on campaigns that drive awareness, adoption, and retention of the products.
  • Support sales enablement and customer success by providing them with the necessary tools, materials, and training to sell and support the products. This includes creating and updating sales collateral, such as pitch decks, case studies, testimonials, and demos, as well as conducting product training sessions, webinars, and workshops for the sales and customer success teams.
  • Study and share customer insights, feedback, and testimonials gathered in NPS, CSAT and other research with the product and marketing teams to inform product development and improvement.
  • Develop and implement the go-to-market strategy, creating and delivering the launch plan, and coordinating with other marketing teams to amplify the product message and reach.
  • Measures and analyze the effectiveness and ROI of the product launches and campaigns, and optimizes them based on data and feedback.
  • Lead the creation of differentiated positioning, high-impact messaging, and customer-facing content that establishes Alight as the premier solution for HR outsourcing, benefits administration, health navigation, wellbeing, wealth administration, and leaves of absence, across the entire agreement lifecycle
  • Partner with Sales Operations and Demand/Growth Marketing to design and execute go-to-market sales plays that build a robust pipeline and accelerate customer acquisition and upsell opportunities
  • Lead and support talented Product Marketing Managers (PMMs) who are accountable for our Health, Wealth, and Leaves solution marketing, respectively.
  • Hire, train, mentor, and motivate the product marketers. Set clear expectations and goals, provide feedback and coaching, and resolve conflicts and issues.
  • Act as a strategic partner to Sales and Enablement by developing the playbooks, training, and tools necessary to help field teams navigate the HR buying journey and close deals faster
  • Serve as the primary SME on the buyer personas, uncovering deep customer insights and market trends to optimize the sales cycle and identify high-priority use cases where Alight has a "right to win"
  • Allocate resources, budgets, and timelines for the product marketing projects
  • Monitors and evaluates the results and impact of the product marketing activities.
  • Lead the process to curate and evolve buyer personas and journey maps to meet the needs of our target audience's behavior, pain points, and preferences.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify industry trends, understand competitor positioning, and differentiate our solutions and service offerings.
  • Leverage customer feedback and reviews to understand customer satisfaction levels, identify areas of improvement, and provide insights for product development.
  • Craft compelling product messaging to communicate product value and differentiation effectively.
  • Measure and report on marketing performance to monitor the effectiveness of marketing strategies and make data-driven decisions.
  • Attend and speak at relevant events, conferences, and webinars, read and write blogs, articles, and reports. networking with peers, influencers, and experts in the field.
  • Benchmarks the product performance and positioning against competitors and industry standards, and identifies opportunities and threats for the product growth and differentiation.
