This role sits at the intersection of real estate, corporate development, and business incubation, and will be responsible for identifying, underwriting, securing, and launching venues and commercial ventures that align with our strategic vision. The ideal candidate is a builder and operator – someone who can evaluate opportunities, drive transactions from diligence through closing, and then roll up their sleeves post-close to help stand up the business. This role requires strong real estate judgment, financial and strategic rigor, and the ability to operate end-to-end in a fast-moving, high-ownership environment.

  • Strong valuation and deal structuring skills.
  • Team player that can also work independently
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with resilience, judgment, and a bias toward action.
  • Thinks like an owner and operates with accountability.
  • Comfortable evaluating zoning documents, negotiating deal terms, and building business plans.
  • Thrives in lean, fast-moving environments.
  • Displays strong investment judgment and knows when to pursue or walk away from opportunities.
  • Motivated by building new ventures from concept to execution
  • Strong desire to learn and grow

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with external parties (e.g., architects, engineers, contractors) to lead venue feasibility and buildout, from concept design through close-out
  • Work with the internal owner’s representative for capital projects, ensuring alignment across scope, schedule and budget
  • Drive and support post-closing, transitioning projects from venue possession to operating businesses.
  • Develop business plans, launch schedules, operating models, staffing plans, and governance structures in partnership with platform teams.
  • Support early-stage execution during pre-opening and initial operations.
  • Track performance against underwriting assumptions and proactively identify risks and opportunities.
