The Senior Director, Rare Endocrinology and Rare Tumors (RERT), Patient Services (PS) is responsible for leading the Patient Services function for the RERT Business Unit. This includes driving the development and implementation of the PS strategy for four indications: Hypophosphatasia (HPP), Lysosomal Acid Lipase Deficiency (LAL-D), Neurofibromatosis Type 1 plus Plexiform Neurofibromas (NF1 PN), as well as potential future indications and assets. This critical leadership role will work closely with RERT Business Unit leadership to set the PS strategy, manage business performance, identify and manage relationships with 3rd parties (e.g., specialty pharmacies), and identify opportunities to improve performance to better serve patients. The role is responsible for developing Patient Services strategy and its execution via field-based teams, including the Case Management team, the Patient Education Manager team, and the Field Reimbursement Team. Success requires the ability to influence without authority and collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, market access, commercial operations, compliance, IT, legal, regulatory, training, medical, and field leadership. This leader ensures tight alignment with the business strategy to optimize opportunities to serve and educate patients compliantly.
