About The Position

Lean Industries is a fintech that provides comprehensive payment dispute management software that streamlines and lowers the cost of dispute operations through a high level of automation. We also create great customer and cardholder experiences for financial institutions and processors focused on modernization. We provide a low code workflow engine with off the shelf software workflows to optimize dispute operations for clients in all regions globally. Our solution is highly configurable and can suit the needs from small to very large enterprises. We are changing the paradigm of the financial services space through use of cloud, SaaS, and AI technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • 10+ years of Quality Assurance experience, preferably with testing web sites and web pages
  • 2+ years Manager experience in any industry
  • Strong Knowledge in Test Life Cycle/Test Methodology with Defect Life Cycle, proficient with bug tracking solutions such as Jira
  • Ability to anticipate organizational and technical issues, and the ability to provide detailed projections and post-mortems
  • Hands-on experience in QA process / documentation development
  • Rest API testing experience with SoapUI or similar
  • Experience with test automation / performance test tools (Selenium, Junit/TestNG, JMeter), and programming or scripting (Java, Shell scripts, etc.) is a strong asset
  • Understanding of the relational DB and hands-on experience in building SQL queries is an asset
  • Experience in financial field and electronic payments processing is a strong asset
  • Knowledge of business process management or workflow management software preferred
  • Be adaptable when challenges arise and ability to learn quickly
  • Excellent organizational skills, should be able to work efficiently across multiple projects
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to self-detect potential issues
  • Outstanding written and oral communication abilities
  • Willingness to continually grow and enhance your own skills and knowledge
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally
  • Valid driver's license and vehicle is required

Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage and take responsibility for the entire QA operations of the company.
  • Perform day-to-day management of Manual/Automation QA teams along with hands-on QA activities.
  • Have comprehensive understanding of full development lifecycle and is actively involved in all phases. Possess holistic view of quality domain.
  • Be able to estimate and commit task level effort, manage resources to ensure the deliverables are met with the highest level of quality.
  • Create test strategy / test design for every feature / integrity part of the system.
  • Initiate review of the QA / delivery procedures across the company.
  • Track the root cause of the review comments and take actions to resolve them.
  • Perform frequent monitoring and analyze of automated scripts (Selenium) to ensure robustness and effectivity.
  • Report on test planning, execution, defects using standard test quality metrics.
  • Escalate to senior management to expedite outstanding issues and concerns with regards to quality and milestones.
  • Help evolve QA processes using industry-accepted best practices.
  • Organize the boot camp for new entrants as well as to identify training needs of team members and address them.
