About The Position

This role exists to strengthen end-to-end project delivery across the United States by partnering with US Operational leaders and the Americas Project Delivery leadership team. The role will translate FY2027 priorities into consistent execution, deploy co-developed best practices, learnings and training, and strengthen project governance, resource connectivity, Global Integrated Delivery (GID) capability and quality assurance. • Significant leadership experience delivering large, complex EPC/EPCm projects from concept through commissioning, including at least one major or mega-project environment.
  • Strong knowledge of stage-gated, end-to-end project delivery; estimating; engineering, procurement and construction sequencing; project controls; earned value; risk; change; quality; and commercial management.
  • Demonstrated ability to deploy delivery improvement initiatives, integrated digital tools, automation and data-centric execution practices.
  • Experience influencing outcomes across a matrix organization without relying on direct-line authority.
  • Deep understanding of US project delivery markets, delivery centers, regulatory interfaces and the practical needs of geographically distributed Operations and project teams.
  • Proven experience building workshare and GID delivery models, including capability assessment, work packaging, governance, interfaces, leadership behaviors and quality controls.
  • Ability to assess functional and project leadership capability, identify talent gaps and coordinate targeted training, mentoring, succession and strategic hiring actions.
  • Experience leading project health reviews, project initiation/mobilization assurance, estimate reviews, peer reviews and recovery or intervention planning for higher-risk work.

Nice To Haves

  • Post-graduate business qualification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with US Operational leaders to understand portfolio and project needs, remove delivery barriers and provide practical Project Delivery support.
  • Promote customer-focused outcomes by reinforcing predictable delivery, early escalation, “no surprises” behaviors and assurance of quality project outcomes.
  • Support pre-award proposal development, differentiated delivery strategies, project initiation and mobilization for strategically important opportunities.
  • Translate Americas Project Delivery FY2027 goals, Global Functional requirements and agreed best practices into actionable US deployment plans.
  • Work across all Project Delivery Functions, including Project Leadership, Engineering, Construction, Supply Chain, Project Controls, Quality and related disciplines, without duplicating functional accountabilities.
  • Create consistent adoption of integrated, end-to-end, data-centric EPC/EPCm work processes, tools, standards and training across selected US locations and projects.
  • Support US Operations in growing full project delivery capability, with particular emphasis on Houston as a major project hub and on higher-risk or complex projects.
  • Develop strong relationships with GID Project Delivery and Operations leaders; help projects define fit-for-purpose workshare strategies, clear divisions of responsibility and progressive improvement in GID/workshare performance against approved plans and budgets.
  • Champion commercial acumen, disciplined change management, quantity trending, cost and schedule forecasting, data governance, risk management and reduction of write-offs and revenue at risk.
  • Promote innovation, automation, AI-enabled improvements and integrated digital tools that improve delivery efficiency and competitiveness.
  • Build an active US Project Delivery network connecting Operational leaders, Functional leaders, project teams, locations, MPP/GO leadership and GID.
  • Maintain visibility of key US resource capabilities and availability; facilitate resource sharing across offices and connect the best available skills to priority customer and project needs.
  • Capture, standardize and deploy lessons learned, proven practices, training and reusable tools across US Operations.
  • Role model One Worley leadership and strengthen collaboration among Global Operations, Major Projects and Programs, GID and Global Functions.
  • Strengthen US project governance reviews so they function as decision, intervention and support forums rather than reporting-only forums.
  • Support enhanced WPR reviews, project initiation audits, discipline technical audits, peer reviews, estimate development/review rigor and post-award risk management.
  • Confirm that projects establish critical role coverage, home-office/GID divisions of responsibility, data-centric tool set-up, cost and schedule baselines, change/trend frameworks, MDR requirements and appropriate assurance plans.
  • Identify recurring systemic risks and quality themes, assign or recommend interventions, track closure and escalate material concerns through the appropriate Operations and Project Delivery leadership channels.
