About The Position

ChargePoint is seeking a Senior Director of Product Marketing to own how products are brought to market and drive measurable commercial impact. This leader will oversee product marketing across hardware and software offerings spanning commercial, fleet, and residential segments, ensuring strong positioning, effective launches, and revenue impact. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for both strategy and execution. You will partner closely with Product and Sales leadership to define go-to-market strategies, equip the field to win, and build a high-performing product marketing function while directly contributing to key deliverables.

Requirements

  • Deep expertise in product marketing within EV charging, cleantech, or adjacent industries.
  • Proven track record of building and scaling PMM functions.
  • Combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
  • Create compelling positioning.
  • Enable sales teams.
  • Drive adoption through high-impact launches.
  • Highly collaborative.
  • Operate with urgency.
  • Leverage AI tools to increase speed and scale of output.
  • Deep familiarity with EV charging or adjacent energy/cleantech markets, including buyers, sales cycles, and competitors.
  • Proven experience building and leading product marketing functions.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop positioning and messaging directly.
  • Ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration with Product, Sales, and Engineering.
