About The Position

At GoDaddy, we empower entrepreneurs and small businesses around the world to succeed online. With more than 20 million customers — most of them first-time or early-stage sellers — we sit at a scale that no pure-play SaaS FinTech can match. And our top-of-funnel is dramatically under invested relative to that installed base. That's the opportunity. We are seeing a Senior Director Product Management (Risk and Onboarding) to join our team! This role leads strategy and execution across lead generation, conversion, merchandising, and AI-powered sales enablement — the full front door of our Commerce platform. The person who builds this capability will compose how millions of entrepreneurs first experience GoDaddy Commerce. They will also define the growth motion that compounds across every segment we serve. You'll drive measurable revenue impact by coordinating product, sales, promotional efforts, go-to-market, and engineering partners around a unified growth strategy. You'll lead a team building the capabilities that turn visitors into customers and help our sales teams work smarter, faster, and more efficiently!

Requirements

  • 10+ years of product management experience, with 5+ years leading product teams at the Director or Senior Director level
  • Proven success owning top-of-funnel, growth, or product areas passionate about growing conversions. This includes measurable impact on conversion rate, CAC, lead quality, and revenue—ideally in a sales-assisted or hybrid PLG/sales motion.
  • Hands-on experience with modern experimentation infrastructure — A/B testing platforms(Statsig, Optimizely, LaunchDarkly, or equivalent), attribution modeling, and CDPs
  • Direct experience shipping or scaling AI-powered growth tools: lead scoring, personalization engines, automation, or conversational AI at production scale and strong experience operating in matrixed, cross-functional environments, aligning Sales, Marketing, Product, and Engineering around shared outcomes
  • Proven success working with and managing complex initiatives within CRM tools, such as Salesforce.
  • Technical fluency with APIs, data platforms, AI/ML capabilities, and architectural tradeoffs —you can go deep with engineering partners without needing to write the code
  • Deeply data-driven outlook: you run experiments, know the difference between statistical significance and business significance, and can tell the story in both directions

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in SMB, commerce, or marketplace products — you understand that our customers are entrepreneurs, not enterprise procurement teams
  • Experience leading product at a company navigating the transition from inside sales to product-led growth
  • Strong people leadership skills, including hiring, coaching, and developing high-impact product teams in a Bay Area talent market

Responsibilities

  • Own the entire top-of-funnel experience for AI (sales representative for Airo) first products. This includes the first customer touch, lead conversion, and handoff to sales.
  • Drive GPV growth, conversion rate improvement, and sales efficiency through product-led and sales-assisted growth initiatives
  • Define and own success metrics across the funnel — visitor-to-lead rate, lead-to-close rate, CAC, and revenue contribution — with clear accountability at every stage
  • Identify and prioritize the highest-impact growth opportunities across paid acquisition, merchandising, experimentation, and sales enablement
  • Build and maintain a rigorous experimentation program: split testing, multivariate tests, and iterative optimization informed by real SMB customer behavior Experimentation, Intelligence & AI Enablement
  • Treat data and experimentation as infrastructure — own the team's relationship with attribution, CDP, and experimentation platforms (Statsig, Optimizely, or equivalent)
  • Lead development and deployment of advanced capabilities like Airo Sales Agent, prospect ranking, tailored customer interactions, intelligent routing, and workflow automation. These features are applied to develop measurable lift instead of functioning as standalone elements.
  • Partner closely with Sales leadership to understand difficulties and translate them into high-impact product solutions
  • Ensure ML and data capabilities are instrumented, evaluated, and iterated on with the same rigor as any other product surfaceCross-Functional Orchestration
  • Align Sales, Marketing, GTM, Development, and Technical teams to shared goals, roadmaps, and success metrics
  • Translate business outcomes (conversion, return on investment, efficiency) into clear product direction and implementation plans
  • Navigate competing priorities and tradeoffs, balancing near-term revenue goals with long-term platform investments
  • Act as connective tissue across groups within a matrixed environment — driving progress even without direct ownership Team Leadership & Product Excellence
  • Lead and develop a high-performing product organization focused on growth outcomes, experimentation, and rapid learning
  • Coach leaders and ICs to operate as growth operators, not feature factories
  • Establish clear priorities in an opportunity-rich, fast paced environment
  • Build a culture of data-driven decision-making, accountability, and continuous improvement
