About The Position

Automox is seeking a Senior Director of Product to lead the team responsible for the evolution of its AI-powered endpoint management solutions. This role involves collaborating cross-functionally to ensure roadmap quality, velocity, and integrity, while elevating the Product team through outcome-focused leadership, transparent objectives, and accountability. The position acts as a liaison between vision and execution, working closely with engineering, go-to-market teams, and senior leadership to prioritize investments. The ideal candidate will have a passion for AI's potential in cybersecurity and IT, and a mission to solve problems on a large scale.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of product management experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role in a SaaS environment at the $20M–$100M ARR stage.
  • Demonstrated judgment in introducing operational improvements—knowing when to standardize, when to simplify, and when to leave existing practices intact.
  • Proven success leading product teams through operational and organizational scaling.
  • Demonstrated experience with product lifecycle management, prioritization frameworks, and outcome-based roadmapping.
  • Demonstrated understanding of GTM strategies, pricing, packaging, and usage-based monetization, customer onboarding, and lifecycle hooks.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills—you can rally teams and influence at all levels.
  • High EQ and the ability to coach and empower a team while holding high standards.
  • Must be able to pass a federal, state, county background check
  • Complete a local in-person verification

Responsibilities

  • Continuously improve product management practices with clarity, prioritization, and cross-functional alignment while preserving what already works and enabling engineering to take full advantage of AI velocity.
  • Own and refine the product development lifecycle to clearly delineate ownership of the “what” in Product and the “how” of innovation in Engineering to enable high-velocity delivery without chaos.
  • Develop tools, processes, and metrics for prioritization, capacity planning, and release readiness.
  • Build a high-performing product management organization by coaching, developing, and holding team members accountable to deliver measurable business outcomes.
  • Foster a unified culture of accountability, customer empathy, and commercial thinking.
  • Lead product team performance management, including hiring, feedback, and professional growth.
  • Influence executive stakeholders to establish clear product operating principles, decision rights, and investment priorities that enable teams to execute with confidence.
  • Modernize customer discovery and product validation practices to ensure that investments solve meaningful customer problems that drive adoption, retention, and business outcomes.
  • Build high-trust partnerships with Engineering and other cross-functional senior leadership to create pride of ownership of product outcomes while balancing customer value, technical realities, and delivery speed.
  • Help shape monetization by collaborating on pricing, packaging, and onboarding strategies to maximize customer acquisition, expansion, and retention.
  • Adapt product operating practices to an AI-accelerated development environment, balancing rapid experimentation with thoughtful product judgment and sustainable execution.
  • Ensure new product features are launched with strong GTM alignment by enabling marketing, sales, and support with context and value.
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing to drive cross-functional planning for product launches and ensure readiness across internal teams.
