About The Position

As a Senior Director of Product Management at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will guide strategic initiatives driving innovation and growth across the portfolio of scientific solutions. This role involves developing and executing comprehensive product strategies, from concept to commercialization, while leading cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional value to customers. Key responsibilities include creating product roadmaps, driving go-to-market strategies, and building strategic partnerships to expand market presence. You will collaborate across divisions to align product development with customer needs and company objectives, and optimize portfolio performance and P&L management. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact in serving science, working with advanced technologies that help customers make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree plus 8 years of product management experience with demonstrated success in P&L management
  • 5+ years of people management experience leading successful teams
  • Strong understanding of digital technologies, including cloud computing, AI, and data analytics
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing successful product strategies and roadmaps
  • Experience in driving global business initiatives and commercial strategy
  • Effectiveness in cross-functional leadership and matrix organization navigation
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with ability to influence at all levels
  • Strategic thinking and analytical capabilities with strong business acumen
  • Expertise in market analysis, competitive intelligence, and customer insight development
  • Demonstrated success in new product development and commercialization
  • Experience with business development, partnerships, and strategic collaborations
  • Ability to adapt to change and manage ambiguity effectively
  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
  • Willingness to travel up to 30-40% (domestic and international)
