About The Position

As a Senior Director Process Manager in PULSE Operations, you will create strategy and lead a team through high priority projects for the company. You will collaborate with smart and passionate leaders to influence results that have a direct impact on the company’s bottom line. You lead important and exciting projects from day one, working alongside key stakeholders across the company. You will lead the Money Movement team which consists of Settlement, Billing, Incentives, Disputes & ownership of the Supplier Strategy that supports PULSE Operations.

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree or military experience
• At least 2 years of experience in Process Management
• At least 2 years of experience in People Management
• At least 2 years of experience in Project management
• At least 2 years of experience in Strategic planning

Nice To Haves

• Masters Degree in Industrial engineering, Process engineering, Process management, Systems engineering, Management, Business or Business Administration (MBA)
• Process or Project Management certification (i.e. Lean, Six Sigma, PMP), Business Management certification
• 5 years of experience in Process Management
• 5 years of experience in People Management

Responsibilities

• Lead moderate sized teams to drive complex projects and programs by providing strategic direction.
• Design, develop, and manage project plans in a complex dynamic environment, revising needs to meet changing requirements.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget within a challenging environment while managing risk.
• Partner cross-functionally with project customers to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of commitments.
• Utilize outstanding influencing skills to drive project and program efforts.
• Demonstrate a proven track record of excellent project management and ability to quickly establish structure.
• Exhibit a passion for coaching and developing associates through leadership.
• Maintain excellent communication and partnership skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
• Serve as a Project Leader who is detailed-oriented and able to manage several initiatives simultaneously.
• Act as a Problem-solver by understanding project goals, proposing effective plans, and leveraging data/metrics to deliver results.
• Function as a Juggler capable of prioritizing and toggling between multiple projects with urgency and adaptability.
• Be a Valued Partner with a proven record of collaboration and an understanding of Capital One's risk management organizations.
• Operate as a Team Player willing to roll up sleeves and contribute beyond the scope of the role.
