About The Position

The JLL Private Wealth platform is seeking a Senior Director to join their team who can source, build, and grow relationships with single family offices, multi-family offices, and registered investment advisors (RIAs). This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing private wealth distribution team within the leading global commercial real estate services platform and ability to leverage access to a global capital markets infrastructure. This person will be focused on raising capital from the private wealth community and distributing direct and indirect commercial real estate investment opportunities, including investment sales, joint venture and fund offerings. This national role will work closely with the JLL Capital Markets team across all property sectors and business lines including investment banking, global funds advisory, investment sales advisory, strategic transactions, international capital coverage, private wealth and others. This role will work closely with US and global team members.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years’ experience in real estate capital markets and/or private wealth distribution.
Demonstrated track record of raising capital from family offices and/or RIAs.
Working knowledge of commercial real estate.
Excellent communication skills — written, verbal, and presentation — with the ability to interface with principals and senior decision-makers at family offices and wealth management firms.
Self-motivated, proactive, and organized. Capable of managing a rolodex of investors along with multiple indirect and direct deal opportunities simultaneously. Ability to effectively manage time and workload.
Comfortable operating within a small, entrepreneurial team inside a large institutional platform.
Strong understanding of and commitment to client service.
SIE, Series 7, and Series 63 required (or must obtain upon hire).
Real estate license required (or must obtain upon hire).
Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, or Business.
Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Originate, cultivate, and manage relationships with single family offices, multi-family offices, and RIAs with allocation appetite for commercial real estate.
Develop a thorough understanding of each investor’s investment mandate, return requirements, sector preferences, and decision-making process.
Distribute investment opportunities to family offices and RIAs — including investment sales, structured equity, joint ventures, debt, sale-leasebacks, 1031/DST offerings and fund offerings.
Cross-sell the broader JLL platform including asset management, leasing, property management, valuations and other applicable services to expose family offices and RIAs to JLL’s full suite of global capabilities.
Contribute to the development and implementation of growth strategies for the platform, including identifying new ways to engage and expand investor relationships through events, marketing materials, pitch decks, thought leadership, and targeted outreach campaigns.
Prospect and develop new investor relationships through referrals, events, targeted campaigns, and cold outreach. Represent JLL Private Wealth at key industry conferences relevant to the family office and RIA community. Travel is required.
Work closely with JLL’s domestic and international capital markets, investment sales, debt & equity placement, and private wealth teams to source deal flow, identify opportunities for investors, and drive collaboration across the platforms.
Maintain consistent communication with active investors and keep the broader network engaged through regular outreach, market updates, and events.
Utilize the private wealth CRM system to maintain accurate and up-to-date records of investor activity, preferences, and investment opportunities.
