About The Position

This role is responsible for co-owning revenue growth, contributing directly to pipeline development, deal strategy, and win execution. The Senior Director will partner with Business Development (BD) and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to shape client opportunities into scalable, high-value solutions. They will actively participate in client engagements, proposals, and bid defenses as a solutions expert. The role involves identifying market trends and translating them into commercial offerings, differentiated capabilities, and repeatable solutions. Additionally, the Senior Director will partner with BD, Marketing, and Inside Sales to support market-facing content, campaigns, and outreach. A key aspect of the role is leading the design and evolution of integrated, client-centric solutions across PBS and other Cytel services, translating complex client needs into clear, executable solution frameworks. The Senior Director will leverage service catalogues, ensuring offerings are modular, scalable, and commercially compelling. They will also partner with Global Functional Heads (GFHs) to align capabilities with market demand and future growth areas. The role oversees portfolio delivery to ensure alignment with commercial commitments and client outcomes, ensuring strong linkage between solution design, scope, pricing, and delivery execution. Driving financial performance, including margin optimization, forecasting accuracy, and resource efficiency, is crucial. Establishing governance to proactively manage risk, scope evolution, and client satisfaction is also a responsibility. The Senior Director will operate within an agile, commercially aligned model connecting BD, SAM, delivery, and functional SMEs, ensuring a seamless handover from sales to delivery and enabling data-driven decision-making through KPIs. Finally, the role involves serving as a senior point of contact for strategic clients, building Cytel’s reputation as a thought partner, and representing capabilities externally through industry engagement, thought leadership, and client forums.

Responsibilities
