About The Position

Monster Energy is seeking a Senior Director, Package & Channel Strategy to provide thought leadership to sales and marketing organizations, shaping long-range package, portfolio, and channel plans. This role is anchored in developing the OBPPC (Occasion, Brand, Pack, Price, Channel) framework for system evolution and adoption. The position is responsible for developing package strategy in collaboration with Revenue Growth Management and Insights departments to optimize category revenue, profitability, and long-term growth. Additionally, the role will lead multi-year planning for the sales organization and partner with cross-functional leaders for growth enablement. The Senior Director will oversee Channel Director(s) and ensure the strategic plan is implemented effectively in commercial planning and at the field level.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Commercial Planning, Revenue Growth Management, Package Strategy and Architecture.
  • More than 7 years of experience in Strategic Planning or Commercial Planning.
  • More than 5 years of experience in Channel, Sales, Package, Strategy or Planning.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

  • Develop an occasion, brand, package, price, and channel (OBPPC) vision and growth strategy for the portfolio of brands.
  • Lead strategic planning initiatives, including opportunity identification, 3-year OBPPC strategy, and other channel growth initiatives.
  • Develop the mid-to-long-term package strategy across all channels, working with the Revenue Growth Management team to ensure strategies are implemented within guardrails by channels and customers.
  • Work with Revenue Growth Management, Commercial, and cross-functional teams to translate OBPPC and Channel Plan into actionable Customer Execution Plans and Joint Business Plans for customer and bottler teams.
  • Lead channel director(s) with vast channel coverage.
