About The Position

Live Nation Entertainment is seeking an experienced and driven Senior Project Director to lead the delivery of major venue projects across our West Coast portfolio. This role carries direct, end-to-end responsibility for the planning and execution of select large-scale venue development, construction, and renovation projects — from concept through completion — while also providing regional oversight to ensure consistency, accountability, and disciplined execution across the western United States. The Senior Project Director serves as the senior point of leadership for West Coast projects, strengthening executive visibility, risk management, and decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience delivering construction and development projects, including 5+ years leading large-scale projects; entertainment, live-venue, or hospitality experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated track record personally delivering major construction or venue projects on time and on budget.
  • Proven success leading, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams of Project Managers and cross-functional project staff.
  • Executive-level experience owning budgets and forecasts and presenting consolidated cost, performance, and risk reporting to senior leadership.
  • Expertise in scheduling and project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, and Procore.
  • Strong background in contract strategy, negotiations, procurement, and vendor performance management.
  • Working knowledge of building codes, permitting, entitlements, and safety regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to lead multiple concurrent projects.
  • Willingness to travel regularly to venues and project sites across the West Coast.

Nice To Haves

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification is a plus.

  • Provide centralized leadership and accountability for West Coast venue development, construction, and renovation projects.
  • Establish consistent delivery standards, governance, processes, and reporting across the region.
  • Serve as the senior escalation point for complex, high-risk, or high-visibility initiatives.
  • Deliver concise, project- and portfolio-level updates on schedule, cost, risk, and delivery status to senior leadership.
  • Elevate critical issues early and support executive decision-making with clear, actionable analysis.
  • Establish KPIs, reporting cadence, and decision rights, ensuring regional priorities align with broader corporate objectives.
  • Maintain executive ownership of project budgets and forecasts for assigned major projects and the broader West Coast portfolio.
  • Review and present consolidated cost reporting, financial performance, and risk exposure to upper management.
