About The Position

The Senior Director of Networking and Generative AI Infrastructure is responsible for defining and executing the enterprise strategy for next-generation networking platforms that enable large-scale Artificial Intelligence (AI), Generative AI (GenAI), High Performance Computing (HPC), cloud, and hybrid infrastructure solutions. This executive leader drives the design, deployment, and operational excellence of highly scalable, secure, and resilient networking environments supporting AI training, inference, data pipelines, and mission-critical business applications. The ideal candidate combines deep expertise in networking and infrastructure with a strong understanding of AI ecosystems, GPU networking, cloud architectures, automation, and digital transformation leadership.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of progressive networking and infrastructure leadership experience.
  • 8+ years managing large-scale enterprise or service provider networking organizations.
  • Proven experience leading global teams and multimillion-dollar technology portfolios.
  • Demonstrated success designing and implementing large-scale AI infrastructure environments.
  • Experience supporting cloud-based and hybrid AI platforms.
  • Experience with Enterprise Networking Architecture, Data Center Networking, Cloud Networking (Azure, AWS, GCP), SD-WAN, Network Security, Automation and Infrastructure as Code, Observability and AIOps, AI Infrastructure Design, GPU Networking, InfiniBand and High-Speed Ethernet Fabrics, Kubernetes and Container Platforms, Edge Computing, Hybrid Cloud Architectures, Generative AI platforms, NVIDIA AI infrastructure ecosystems, familiarity with large-scale AI training environments.

Responsibilities

  • Partners closely with Engineering, Deploy, and Executive Leadership teams to accelerate AI adoption while ensuring operational stability, technical governance, and overall delivery quality of AI solutions.
  • Develop and execute a multi-year networking strategy aligned with enterprise AI and digital transformation objectives.
  • Lead the design and deployment of networking solutions supporting AI training and inference environments and lead architecture decisions around GPU clusters, high-speed fabrics, AI data pipelines, RDMA, InfiniBand, Ethernet fabrics, and ultra-low-latency networking.
  • Oversee enterprise networking architecture including: Data Center Networking - Ethernet and Infiniband, Cloud Networking, Network Security, Global Connectivity, L1 cabling infrastructure (P-P documents).
  • Own availability, reliability, performance, and capacity management across networking services. Establish KPIs, SLAs, and executive dashboards measuring business outcomes and platform performance.
