About The Position

King Solutions is transforming the way brands manage fulfillment, transportation, and e-commerce operations. We are building a scalable, technology-enabled fulfillment platform that delivers operational excellence, customer visibility, and continuous improvement across every client we serve. We are seeking a Sr. Director of Fulfillment to lead our warehouse and fulfillment operations while helping shape the future of our business. This leader will drive operational performance, develop high-performing teams, improve customer outcomes, and leverage data and technology to create a best-in-class 3PL experience. This is not a role for someone looking to simply maintain operations. We are looking for a builder, someone excited to lead through change, challenge the status quo, and create scalable processes that support long-term growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 8+ years of progressive leadership experience in warehouse, fulfillment, distribution, or 3PL operations.
  • 5+ years leading managers and supervisors.
  • Demonstrated success managing multi-client fulfillment environments.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management.
  • Experience utilizing WMS platforms and operational reporting tools.
  • Proven ability to drive productivity and process improvement initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

  • 3PL fulfillment leadership experience.
  • Deposco experience.
  • E-commerce fulfillment experience.
  • Lean, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement certification.
  • Experience leading operational transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all fulfillment operations across receiving, storage, replenishment, picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Meet operational standards and drive execution against service commitments.
  • Ensure labor resources are aligned with customer demand and volume fluctuations.
  • Drive operational consistency across all shifts and business units.
  • Develop scalable processes that support future growth.
  • Own fulfillment performance for all client accounts.
  • Partner with Customer Success and Sales to ensure client expectations are achieved.
  • Participate in client business reviews and operational reviews.
  • Develop corrective action plans for service failures.
  • Identify opportunities to improve client efficiency and value.
  • Establish productivity standards and labor management processes.
  • Drive improvements in: Lines per hour, Units per hour, Dock productivity, Replenishment productivity, Labor cost per order.
  • Utilize operational data to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Build accountability throughout the leadership team.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy standards.
  • Ensure cycle count and audit programs are executed.
  • Reduce inventory discrepancies and fulfillment errors.
  • Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Maintain operational compliance and process adherence.
  • Partner with Product & Innovation to maximize utilization of Deposco WMS and supporting technologies.
  • Lead implementation of automation and process improvements.
  • Utilize operational dashboards and KPIs to drive decision-making.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Champion data-driven management practices.
  • Build and develop warehouse leadership teams.
  • Create clear accountability and performance expectations.
  • Coach supervisors and managers to become future leaders.
  • Drive employee engagement, retention, and succession planning.
  • Foster a culture focused on safety, accountability, and customer service.
