About The Position

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is a leader in healthcare food and nutrition services, serving over 1,000 hospitals and healthcare systems nationwide. With over 31,000 associates, Morrison focuses on creating personalized dining experiences to advance healing and health. The Sr. Director of Dining Services will oversee the daily foodservice operations for a 400-bed hospital with a retail cafe, managing a team of 100 hourly employees and 7 managers. This role involves managing client relationships, account profitability, and talent development.

Requirements

Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) is required.
Minimum of five years of Proven Leadership expertise in a Contract Managed Food Service setting
Direct foodservice operational management experience with inventory and purchasing knowledge and control
Strong knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
Knowledge of P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience is desirable
ServSafe® certified a plus

Responsibilities

Operates the department in accordance with the approved budget, while providing the client with the maximum value for the dollars spent
Ensures that the food offered to the client is of superior quality
Directs and conducts safety, sanitation, and maintenance programs
Maintains excellent relationships with clients as well as other departments within the community
Promotes the professional growth and development of the entire team
Fosters strong inter-departmental relations and integrate the dining service department with the facility plan of operations
