About The Position

This role is for an engineering leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, someone energized by marrying rapidly evolving technical challenges with critical business decisions that drive both top-line resilience and bottom-line growth. The Director of Engineering will build and lead a high-impact global engineering organization operating at the intersection of product development, supply chain, and operations. This role works in close partnership with Product, Supply Chain, and Operations leaders across a worldwide organization—driving technical and business excellence into both existing products and new product design. The position requires an interdisciplinary engineering leader who is comfortable working across product development, design decisions, supplier capability, and manufacturing execution. A central focus of this role is the development and execution of strategic plans that improve business resilience and drive sustained profitability. This includes shaping multi-year approaches to supply continuity, technical capability, cost structure, and supporting operational scalability—while leading a cross-functional team accountable for executing against an evolving strategy. This role is ideal for leaders who enjoy tackling rapidly evolving and unfamiliar technical challenges, and who are motivated to grow their careers by taking on broader, enterprise-level responsibilities. The position is directly aligned to business roadmaps, ensuring that product design, supply chain capability, and operational execution are tightly integrated with a resilient and geographically and economically aligned supply chain. A critical component of this role is operating with high visibility—leading a global team while directing cross-functional efforts across Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, and the Product groups—and influencing some of the most senior decision-makers in the business. This role provides a unique opportunity to develop a well-rounded understanding of the full business system and is a strong steppingstone to future senior leadership positions.
