About The Position

We are seeking an accomplished and results-driven Senior Director of Development to lead the organization's fundraising, business development, and revenue-generation strategy. This senior leadership position is responsible for expanding and diversifying funding through corporate partnerships, major gifts, grants, sponsorships, and national and global initiatives. The Senior Director of Development will exercise a high level of independent judgment in identifying revenue opportunities, cultivating relationships, negotiating partnerships, and developing strategic initiatives that advance the organization's mission and long-term financial sustainability. The ideal candidate is a strategic relationship builder with a demonstrated record of securing significant funding, developing strong donor and corporate partnerships, and leading revenue-focused development efforts within a nonprofit or mission-driven organization. At Alma Domestic Violence Foundation (ADVF), we believe every individual deserves to live free from violence, fear, and abuse. Our mission is to empower survivors of domestic violence by providing comprehensive advocacy, supportive services, housing resources, legal assistance, education, and community partnerships that promote safety, healing, and long-term independence. As our Senior Director of Development, you will play a pivotal role in advancing this mission by securing the financial resources and strategic partnerships needed to expand our programs and increase our impact. Your leadership will directly support innovative initiatives that improve the lives of survivors and strengthen communities throughout Metro Atlanta and beyond. This is more than a fundraising position-it is an opportunity to shape the future of a growing nonprofit organization, cultivate transformational partnerships, and help build sustainable funding that allows ADVF to serve more individuals and families in need. If you are a visionary leader with a passion for philanthropy, community engagement, and creating lasting social change, we invite you to join our team and make a meaningful difference.
