About The Position

The Children’s Home of Reading is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Senior Director of Community Programs to provide executive-level oversight for the UAC LTFC program. This role involves reviewing incident reports, directing responses to critical program issues, monitoring performance metrics and regulatory compliance, and overseeing financial performance. The Senior Director will also evaluate the Program Director's performance, serve as the executive point of contact for ORR, and participate in leadership-level meetings. This position is crucial for supporting individuals and families in achieving greater independence and success.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must have a valid driver's license along with valid vehicle insurance & registration.
  • Demonstrate experience overseeing federal grant-funded programs.
  • Working knowledge of the ORR policy framework and Cooperative Agreement compliance requirements.
  • Strong financial acumen and budget oversight experience.
  • Excellent executive-level communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provides executive-level oversight of the UAC LTFC program on behalf of CHOR’s executive leadership.
  • Reviews significant incident reports and directs executive-level response to critical program issues.
  • Monitors program performance metrics and overall regulatory compliance for the UAC LTFC program.
  • Reviews financial and budget-to-actual performance and approves material budget modifications.
  • Evaluates the Program Director's performance and provides leadership-level supervision.
  • Serves as the executive point of contact for ORR on matters requiring executive engagement.
  • Escalates unresolved compliance or licensing concerns to CHOR's executive leadership.
  • Participates in ORR-required leadership-level meetings as needed.
  • Supports continuation application preparation and organizational strategic planning for the UAC LTFC program.
