About The Position

Kevin’s Natural Foods is seeking a strategic, analytical, and people-focused Senior Director of Analytics to lead and evolve our commercial analytics capabilities. This role will serve as a key strategic partner to the CEO and our Leadership Team, helping transform data into actionable insights and decision-making that drives value creation across our business. The Senior Director of Analytics will build and oversee a high-performing team over time, responsible for business analytics, category forecasting, strategic revenue management and assortment analytics. This individual will play a critical role in shaping commercial strategy by leveraging syndicated data, shopper insights, retailer-specific analytics, global macroeconomic data and internal business intelligence to identify opportunities, influence decision-making, and drive value creation. This role requires a strong blend of strategic thinking, technical analytics expertise, storytelling ability, and cross-functional leadership within a fast-paced CPG environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics, Finance, Economics, or a related field required; MBA preferred.
  • 10 - 15+ years of experience in business intelligence, management consulting, data analysis, financial analysis and/or commercial analytics within the CPG food industry.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong experience working with syndicated and retailer-specific data sources, including Circana/IRI, NielsenIQ, SPINS, retailer POS, panel data, loyalty data, and shopper insights platforms.
  • Proven ability to translate complex data into actionable business strategies and executive-level recommendations.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience supporting large retail customers and sales organizations.
  • Advanced analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with business intelligence and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar platforms as well as regression analysis and statistical tools, SAP, and others.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic analytics leader and trusted business partner to the executive leadership team, helping drive profitable growth across customers, channels, and categories.
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations that influence internal stakeholders and retail partners.
  • Identify growth opportunities through analysis of category trends, shopper behavior, retailer performance, assortment, pricing, promotion, and distribution.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Product Development to align analytics strategies with broader business priorities.
  • Support long-range planning, annual business planning, and ad hoc decision making through data-driven insights and forecasting support.
  • Build scalable reporting frameworks, dashboards, and analytics processes that improve business visibility and decision-making speed.
  • Leverage syndicated data sources (Circana/IRI, NielsenIQ, SPINS, Numerator, retailer loyalty data, POS, panel data, and expert industry reports, etc.) to develop compelling category stories and actionable recommendations.
  • Monitor category, competitive, and consumer trends to identify whitespace opportunities and portfolio optimization strategies.
  • Drive analytics surrounding promotions, pricing, assortment, distribution, shelving, and innovation performance.
  • Establish best practices for data governance, reporting accuracy, insight generation, and analytical storytelling.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing analytics team focused on collaboration, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
