The Senior Director, Medical Affairs Strategy will be responsible for developing and executing the Medical Affairs strategy for Disc Medicine’s myeloproliferative neoplasm (MPN) portfolio, with an initial focus on selcodebart (DISC-0974) in myelofibrosis-associated anemia and future pipeline opportunities including DISC-3405 in polycythemia vera (PV). This role serves as the medical affairs lead for the MPN portfolio, developing therapeutic area-specific medical strategy and providing scientific leadership across scientific engagement, KOL strategy, congress activities, medical education, and evidence generation, while partnering with Medical Affairs leadership to ensure alignment with broader organizational priorities. Reporting to SVP, Head of Medical Affairs and Clinical Development, this role will work closely with the Executive Director, Medical Affairs Strategy to ensure alignment of MPN medical priorities with the broader Medical Affairs strategy, operating model, budget, and cross-functional initiatives. The Senior Director will develop MPN-specific medical strategies and plans that are integrated into the overall Medical Affairs strategy and execution framework. The Senior Director will collaborate closely with all Medical Affairs functions including Field Medical - Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs), and cross-functional partners in Clinical Development, Clinical Operations, Corporate Strategy, Program Management, and Regulatory to advance scientific understanding, address evidence gaps, and support the successful development and lifecycle management of Disc Medicine’s MPN portfolio.
