About The Position

We are seeking a strategic and inspirational leader to serve as our Senior Director of Tribute’s Marketing Services business. Marketing Services is a multi-million dollar business line and this person will serve as the owner, in charge of managing and growing the offering; this entails leading the vision, performance, and evolution of the team and offering to the customer base. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in running a managed services business, with expertise in digital marketing, deep cross-channel expertise, and a passion for delivering measurable results. This person must be fluent in how AI, data, and marketing strategy intersect and know how to turn those intersections into competitive advantage on behalf of clients. The ideal candidate brings a blend of strategic vision, business development acumen, and operational excellence. You will be instrumental in shaping the future of our practice, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring our clients receive exceptional strategic guidance. This role is for someone who wants to build and lead something. We are looking for a leader who will assess our current capabilities, identify opportunities, and help chart the course for continued growth.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and manage functional teams, ensuring they meet performance goals and evolve alongside the needs of our clients.
  • Balance the delegation of client relationship and project duties to your broader team, with the need to directly involve yourself in day-to-day activities as required/on strategic initiatives.
  • Oversee your team members so that projects are executed with excellence: on time, on budget, and on strategy for the client.
  • Serve as a strategic partner to major clients, helping them define marketing transformation strategies, navigate complexity in their business and unlock market share gains.
  • Translate evolving client needs into actionable strategy roadmaps that leverage the full spectrum of digital channels and solutions.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to funeral home owners and operators, offering strategic guidance on marketing investments and long-term growth planning.
  • Embed AI and data-driven thinking into how digital strategy is developed, communicated, and executed.
  • Stay ahead of marketing and martech trends, applying emerging tools like generative AI and automation to create smarter, faster, more personalized strategies.
  • Partner with internal teams to evolve and promote AI-enhanced solutions and capabilities for both client-facing engagements and internal operations.
  • Revenue and Profit Management: deliver against the business goals for revenue and margin through the current offerings, as well as creating new offerings for clients.
  • Monitor and report on departmental KPIs, including resource utilization, team allocation, profitability, and skill development.
  • Build scalable workflows and processes to improve the efficiency, quality, and repeatability of outputs.
  • Continuously improve operational practices that allow digital teams to meet performance expectations while remaining agile and cost-effective.
  • Contribute to Marketing Services growth goals by participating in the pitch and proposal process as a senior leader.
  • Partner with account and sales teams to identify, shape, and close new opportunities through strong value articulation and consultative salesmanship.
  • Bring a visionary perspective to positioning to develop and refine our digital value proposition and go-to-market approach.
  • Build strategies to maintain competitiveness by forecasting digital trends, monitoring competitor activity, and evolving our strategic offering accordingly.
