About The Position

This role provides clinical and operational leadership for LOSS services, ensuring high-quality, trauma-informed care through direct service delivery, program oversight, and continuous quality improvement. It also manages staff and volunteers, oversees intake and service access, builds community and parish partnerships, and directs administrative functions including staffing, budgeting, and program development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in related field of study
  • 3-5 years of relevant clinical experience
  • Experience with trauma-informed care, grief support, and group facilitation
  • Experience with program administration and coordination with internal operational teams
  • LCSW / LCPC or equivalent licensure
  • Background check, including any program specific requirements
  • Driver's License and reliable transportation Agency-specified automobile insurance

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in related field of study
  • 5+ years of clinical experience, including supervision
  • Experience supervising therapists and volunteers
  • Knowledge of Catholic grief theology
  • Experience working at a non-profit organization

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership for LOSS services, ensuring high-quality, client-centered, and trauma-informed care.
  • Maintain a small caseload and co-facilitate at least one support group at all times.
  • Responsible for all aspects of programming under assigned leadership including service management, expansion and development, and overseeing and refining all quality improvement activities.
  • Maintains knowledge of insurance billing and ensures all delivered services are eligible for reimbursement.
  • Supervise up to five full-time therapists, up to ten part-time therapists, and the intake coordinator.
  • Recruit, engage, train, and assign volunteers to co-facilitate groups with clinicians.
  • Hold regular supervisions and team meetings.
  • Oversee the intake process for individuals seeking counseling.
  • Supervise the intake coordinator and assign therapists to ensure timely, appropriate, and compassionate access to services.
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with parish partners who serve as host sites for LOSS groups, ensuring strong collaboration and seamless service delivery.
  • Lead planning and execution of client-centered events, including the annual Evening of Remembrance.
  • Actively participate in strategic planning and identifies trends and opportunities for program development.
  • Directly responsible for overall management of daily operations of assigned teams.
  • Hires, trains, supervises, and professionally develops assigned staff.
  • Ensures adequate staffing to meet client needs and volume.
  • Coordinates with Mission Support, Client and Community Impact, and other internal partners to ensure effective day-to-day operations.
  • Develops and implements policies and procedures.
  • Develops, implements, and monitors all budgets under assigned leadership.
