As Senior Director, IT, you will lead infrastructure and site support through the complexity of a bi-coastal, hybrid organization, bringing a clear, strategic approach to how we operate and scale. You will elevate our technology environment, bring focused leadership with an eye on team development, and build trust quickly across the organization while strengthening alignment across teams. You will shape the future of IT at Known by driving innovation, embedding AI into how we work, and pushing what’s possible.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive IT leadership, including senior-level roles
  • Experience leading complex hybrid infrastructure environments
  • Proven success managing distributed, multi-location teams
  • Strong expertise in cloud platforms, networking, systems architecture, and endpoint management
  • Experience with enterprise SaaS and modern workplace tools
  • Strong understanding of IT service management frameworks and best practices
  • Direct experience leading ISO certification efforts and ensuring audit readiness
  • Strong cybersecurity, risk management, and governance background
  • Experience managing budgets, vendors, and cross-functional initiatives
  • Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to commute to NYC headquarters 4–5 days per week, with occasional travel

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute IT strategy aligned with business priorities
  • Act as a trusted partner to executive leadership, bringing clear perspective on investments, risks, and opportunities
  • Lead modernization of IT systems with a focus on speed, reliability, and impact
  • Own hybrid infrastructure across cloud, on-prem, network, and endpoint environments
  • Maintain high standards for uptime, performance, and operational resilience
  • Lead cybersecurity, risk management, and incident response
  • Own ISO certification and ensure ongoing audit readiness and compliance discipline
  • Lead help desk and desktop support with a focus on responsiveness, accountability, and user experience across a diverse employee base with varying technical needs and skill levels
  • Set and maintain service standards that ensure a consistently high-quality support experience, using data and feedback to drive continuous improvement
  • Establish a best-in-class in-office technology environment at the New York headquarters, with particular accountability for executive support, client-facing interactions, and day-to-day workplace reliability
  • Ensure end-user support is proactive, solutions-oriented, and aligned to the needs of a bi-coastal, always-on organization
  • Lead and develop a distributed IT team across bi-coastal operations
  • Build a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement
  • Partner cross-functionally to deliver practical, business-aligned technology solutions
