Senior Director, IT Product Management — GTM & Customer Experience

Rubrik Job BoardPalo Alto, CA
$278,200 - $389,800

About The Position

We are seeking a visionary, product leader to own the AI-driven transformation of the platforms powering Rubrik's Go-To-Market (GTM) and Customer Experience (CX) capabilities. This is a hands-on leadership role — architect and player-coach, accountable for the end-to-end product vision, agentic system design, and delivery of intelligent experiences across the revenue lifecycle, from prospect to quote to cash to renewal and support. You will lead a team of product managers and partner deeply with engineering to move beyond traditional SaaS UIs toward multi-agent orchestration. North Star: Redesign how Rubrik sells, partners, launches products, and serves customers as an AI-native, agentic system — not incrementally better SaaS screens, but autonomous workflows that own outcomes. You are the product leader who turns that ambition into a shipped, governed, measurable reality — and who raises the craft of AI product management across the GTM and CX estate.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of progressive leadership in enterprise technology / product management, including 5+ years leading teams at a high-growth, large-scale tech or SaaS company.
  • GTM fluency: experience with hardware / software / SaaS go-to-market models and the technical complexities of NPI in such environments.
  • B2B Business Transformation: Demonstrated track record leading large-scale process re-engineering initiatives that streamlined Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) or NPI flows, with direct accountability for metrics like cycle time, cost-to-serve, and seller productivity.
  • Operating Model Alignment: Exceptional ability to partner with CRO, RevOps, Finance, and CS executives to align operating models, drive organizational change management, and eliminate legacy operational debt.
  • Applied AI depth: demonstrated success leading the design and delivery of production-grade AI/ML products, including generative-AI applications, agentic architectures, and large-scale automation.
  • Strong GTM System knowledge with hands-on experience across CRM (Salesforce), PRM, advanced CPQ, billing, and complex revenue architectures; CX / customer-support platforms a strong plus.
  • Proven track record transforming seller / partner / customer experiences through agentic AI, intelligent automation, and data-driven platforms, with measurable impact on revenue operations.
  • Technical credibility to influence and partner with senior executives, product engineering, and AI teams; fluency with the modern AI stack (LLMs, agent frameworks, cloud, MLOps, vector search, real-time systems) alongside core GTM platforms (Salesforce, Clari, or equivalents).
  • Mindset: Drive disruptive AI innovation while maintaining the reliability, compliance, and stability required for mission-critical revenue systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree (MS/PhD) or MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Own the multi-year product vision and roadmap for embedding advanced AI across the entire GTM and CX stack; translate corporate strategy into a rigorously prioritized portfolio of AI initiatives, each grounded in measurable business impact.
  • Bring hands-on mastery of the GTM and CX domains — ,Quote-to-Cash (Q2C), partner motions, and post-sale onboarding and support — and use it as the source of truth for every design decision.
  • Redesign the process from first principles before introducing tooling or agents — simplify, standardize, and remove steps that exist only to serve legacy systems.
  • Re-imagine Q2C and NPI as clean, measurable flows; only then apply automation and agentic orchestration to the steps that remain.
  • Instrument every process so cycle time, productivity, and value delivery are visible and improvable.
  • Define the data contracts and master-data alignment across Salesforce, CPQ, ERP/billing, and CX systems so decisions and agents act on a single, fit-for-purpose source.
  • Balance innovation velocity with stability, scalability, and technical-debt reduction so improvements compound instead of creating new seams.
  • Advance the organization from an AI-native, AI-first posture to true agentification — business processes that operate as governed, multi-agent systems with human-in-the-loop control.
  • Earn it in the right order: Agentification does not happen without process fit and data fit. Redesigned, instrumented processes and fit-fo
  • Sequence the roadmap around lighthouse beachheads where each build retires a legacy path rather than running beside it.
  • Set the standard for production-grade AI: eval coverage, human-in-the-loop guardrails, and responsible-AI practices baked into the definition of done.
  • Bring an architect-first, systems-designer mindset. Shape scalable AI architectures for GTM/CX workflows that leverage LLMs, agentic frameworks, vector search, orchestration layers, and real-time inference — in close partnership with Engineering.
  • Prototype, validate, and iterate on high-impact AI concepts through rapid proof-of-concept work; own the product side of the full AI SDLC across GTM and CX platforms.
  • Drive user-centric AI innovation in seller, partner, and customer journeys — ruthlessly removing friction through intelligent automation, predictive insight, and personalization.
  • Maintain platform health by balancing innovation velocity with stability, scalability, and technical-debt reduction across Salesforce, CPQ engines, ERP integrations, and custom AI layers — governed loops that preserve velocity while producing audit artifacts as a byproduct.
  • Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing team of AI-fluent product managers; operate as a player-coach — deeply engaged in architecture and product direction while building organizational AI product excellence.
  • Raise the bar on the craft: data-driven decisions, experimentation frameworks, and business-value quantification over vanity PoCs.
