About The Position

The Senior Director of Investor Services at SS&C Technologies, Inc. will be responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of investor services operations, ensuring exceptional client satisfaction and operational efficiency for a portfolio of complex fund structures. This role requires a strategic leader with a deep understanding of the financial services industry, regulatory requirements, and a proven track record of managing high-performing teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive experience in investor services within the financial services industry, preferably with a focus on alternative investments (e.g., private equity, hedge funds).
  • Proven leadership experience, including managing large teams and developing talent.
  • Extensive knowledge of investor services operations, including anti-money laundering (AML), Know Your Customer (KYC), FATCA, CRS, and other relevant regulations.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with industry-standard investor services software and platforms.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong understanding of fund structures, legal documents, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic initiatives to enhance investor services offerings and operational processes.
  • Manage and mentor a team of investor services professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the end-to-end investor onboarding, capital call, distribution, transfer, and redemption processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for key client relationships, addressing complex inquiries and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including fund accounting, legal, compliance, and technology teams, to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant regulatory requirements (e.g., AML/KYC, FATCA, CRS) and internal policies.
  • Lead and participate in client presentations, due diligence meetings, and other client-facing activities.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes impacting investor services.
  • Drive operational efficiencies through process automation and technology utilization.
