About The Position

We are looking for a leader who will mobilize the engineering teams responsible for developing our hardware products. With strong technical expertise in electronics and embedded systems, this person will help evolve our engineering practices, support innovation, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, high-performing products. Your impact will be to lead engineering and product delivery, ensuring the successful development and delivery of hardware products from concept through production launch. You will ensure product delivery meets quality, cost, schedule, and technical performance objectives. You will contribute to the definition and validation of product requirements and acceptance criteria, identify, assess, and manage technical and delivery risks. You will ensure alignment and seamless integration across Hardware, Firmware, Mechanical, and Manufacturing Engineering teams. You will champion robust product development practices, including Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Test (DFT), and reliability engineering. You will foster technological innovation and support the evolution of existing product platforms, and drive continuous improvement of the product development lifecycle. You will also advance engineering practices by driving their evolution to enhance the quality, reliability, and efficiency of product development. You will contribute to the definition and execution of the R&D organization's transformation strategy, build empowered, accountable, and value-driven product delivery teams, and develop communication and change management strategies that support organizational evolution. You will facilitate communities of practice, peer reviews, and knowledge-sharing initiatives. Furthermore, you will develop talent by coaching, supporting, and inspiring team members to achieve departmental objectives while fostering their professional growth, and assess workforce and organizational needs to support business priorities. You will engage stakeholders by leading or contributing to governance forums and strategic committees alongside Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and Project Managers, and partner with cross-functional stakeholders by providing visibility through dashboards and performance indicators related to product delivery, quality, and design.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • More than 7 years of experience in the field of electronic product engineering and embedded systems (hardware and firmware).
  • More than 5 years of experience leading technology delivery, product development, or related fields.
  • Strong people leadership and team management experience.
  • Demonstrated experience leading large-scale organizational transformation initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Proven leadership with the ability to influence, engage, and build trusted business relationships.
  • Strong leadership, team management, and change management skills.
  • Proficiency in both French and English, spoken and written.
