Senior Director, Growth Product Management

PeopleConnect•San Diego, CA
•$195,000 - $215,000•Onsite

About The Position

PeopleConnect is looking for a Senior Director of Growth Product Management to build and drive growth for OmniWatch. Success means creating a repeatable growth engine that increases profitable acquisition, conversion, activation, and customer lifetime value. This is a senior individual contributor role for someone who wants to build, not simply step into an established playbook. OmniWatch is central to PeopleConnect's growth plans, and the person in this seat will have significant influence over how far and how fast the business scales. You will identify growth opportunities, determine what needs to be built or improved, and lead execution across Product, Marketing, Engineering, Design, Creative, and Analytics. This is not a traditional product management role focused primarily on feature delivery. We are looking for a hands-on growth leader who can operate across product and performance marketing and connect acquisition, conversion, onboarding, monetization, and retention into a coherent growth strategy. You should be energized by finding opportunities, testing ideas, solving problems, and building capabilities that do not exist today. You will own the OmniWatch growth roadmap, the economics behind it, and the operating cadence required to move it forward. You should be comfortable moving between growth strategy and execution, whether analyzing CAC and LTV, evaluating acquisition performance, improving onboarding or pricing, writing a product spec, or presenting recommendations to executive leadership. This role requires someone who can move quickly between strategy and execution, get into the details when needed, and take direct ownership for moving cross-functional work forward. The right person has built and scaled consumer subscription businesses, knows how to turn data into action, and wants direct accountability for business results.

Requirements

  • Experience operating across both product and performance marketing. You have had meaningful ownership of acquisition and growth economics while also directly influencing or owning the product and funnel decisions that drive conversion, activation, monetization, and retention. We are looking for someone who can connect both sides of the growth equation rather than operate exclusively within one.
  • 8+ years across product management, growth product, growth marketing, or performance marketing, with substantial experience owning consumer growth
  • Demonstrated success growing a high-volume consumer subscription business, with measurable responsibility for acquisition, conversion, monetization, and retention.
  • Proven experience managing and scaling significant paid acquisition budgets profitably across multiple channels. You have had direct accountability for CAC, payback, and channel performance rather than operating solely through an agency.
  • Significant experience building and running disciplined experimentation programs across acquisition, conversion, monetization, and retention.
  • Experience recommending and shaping pricing, packaging, promotional offers, subscription funnels, or other monetization initiatives in partnership with Product, Finance, and other key stakeholders
  • Strong analytical judgment. You can work directly with performance and customer data, identify what matters, challenge weak conclusions, and turn analysis into clear business recommendations
  • Demonstrated ability to lead significant cross-functional work through teams you do not directly manage, including owning product priorities, writing clear requirements, and working directly with Engineering through backlog and sprint execution.
  • A builder mentality. You have a track record of creating or materially improving growth capabilities, processes, or operating models.
  • A hands-on operating style. You are comfortable moving between strategy and execution and getting into the details required to move opportunities forward.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in identity protection, cybersecurity, fintech, consumer financial products, insurance, digital safety, or another high-trust consumer category
  • Experience marketing products to consumers age 50+
  • Depth in lifecycle marketing and how email, SMS, onboarding, and engagement experiences connect back to acquisition
  • Familiarity with subscription-billing requirements, including negative-option, auto-renewal, and cancellation rules
  • Experience driving mobile app adoption and activation within a web-acquired subscription funnel
  • Experience with cross-sell or bundled acquisition between sibling consumer brands

Responsibilities

  • Develop and own OmniWatch's growth strategy across acquisition, conversion, onboarding, monetization, and retention
  • Own the strategy connecting acquisition messaging, creative, landing experiences, lifecycle communications, and offers so that channel spend converts effectively.
  • Guide creative testing across messaging, hooks, formats, static and video creative, UGC, and testimonials, reading results at the channel and cohort level rather than the funnel level alone
  • Partner with Marketing and leadership on channel economics, including CAC by source, LTV:CAC, and payback period, and recommend where incremental budget should be allocated
  • Own the OmniWatch growth roadmap end to end, prioritized by expected customer and revenue impact
  • Serve as the single point of accountability for what ships and when, maintaining a visible source of truth that Marketing, Product, Engineering, and leadership plan against
  • Directly own and prioritize the product backlog, translate growth opportunities into requirements and user stories, and work within the sprint process to move Engineering work from concept through delivery.
  • Write the product specs, experiment briefs, and success criteria that other teams execute against
  • Secure Engineering, Design, Creative, and Analytics capacity by negotiating directly with those leaders, and escalate early when commitments slip
  • Establish and run the growth operating cadence that keeps cross-functional work moving quickly
  • Own funnel KPIs, including CVR, CAC, LTV, ARPU, trial-to-paid conversion, activation, retention, and churn, and forecast how roadmap work will move them
  • Run a disciplined experimentation program across acquisition, landing experiences, checkout, pricing, offers, onboarding, activation, upsell, and retention, with clear hypotheses, guardrail metrics, and decision rules set before tests launch
  • Own funnel instrumentation and reporting in partnership with Analytics, so leadership has reliable visibility into growth performance
  • Present results to executive leadership with a clear point of view on what happened, what we learned, and what we should do next
  • Recommend pricing, packaging, and offer strategies, developed in partnership with the Head of Product and Finance, across trials, tiers, family plans, and upsells, informed by customer insights, business performance, and competitor and category positioning.
  • Translate OmniWatch's differentiators (infostealer detection, breach alert speed, phishing alerts, social-engineering coverage, and white-glove restoration) into propositions that convert, particularly for consumers age 50+ and families concerned about scams, fraud, and identity theft
  • Own onboarding and early activation as the bridge from conversion to retention
  • Partner with Legal and Compliance on claims substantiation, offers, and subscription-billing practices

Benefits

  • 100% company-paid Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance for all employees
  • Generous bonus package
  • Unlimited vacation policy
  • Paid Sick Leave, Paid Holidays, and Paid Bereavement
  • 401(k) plan with company match
  • Paid Parental Leave and subsidized Dependent Care
  • Student Loan Repayment Program and 529 Education Savings Plan
  • Training and Education Reimbursement
  • Paid Parking
  • Pet Insurance and Employee Referral Rewards
